Straw kneading machines

There are many types of straw kneader and in most cases the straw material is fed in before entering the kneading plant. The cut stems are mostly tubular or lumpy, with straight ends, often sharp, angular cuts, difficult to eat, provocative to animals, produce waste and require kneading. The scraping method of the various straw scrapers is essentially the same, basically combining a high-speed rotating hammer head and a tine plate to hammer the straw against the surface resistance formed on the surface of the main body (working chamber). Straw shredder

After feeding the straw into the feed opening, the kneader cuts the straw longitudinally by rotating multiple sets of cutting tool parts, i.e. cutting in the direction of the straw's stem while fully destroying its hard nodules. The straw is shredded so that the finished straw material is mostly in strips, i.e. the length is much greater than the width of the straw; the length to width ratio is generally 10:1 and the total length of the finished straw is generally 30-100 mm. the degree of shredding of the straw is related to the dense distribution of the tools (knife blades) on the tool parts. Particularly suitable for processing thick, hard straw or forage, such as maize straw and bamboo grass. Kneading method: Many models follow the kneading structure of the kneading machine. As the kneaded straw has a filamentous body base, the kneading effect is superior to that of a straw kneader after high speed hammering. The other type is fence kneading: fence kneading of straw feed is suitable for cattle, sheep and other livestock, especially for sheep, deer and horses. The straw utilisation rate is close to 100%. The overall structure of a straw kneader is generally more complex than a straw kneader, with at least two working shafts and transmission devices such as gears or sprockets; the manufacturing process of the tool components is demanding and the cost of the product is relatively high

Forage shredders

Mainly used for cutting straw feed such as forage, rice straw, wheat straw, hay, all kinds of green feed, silage maize, sorghum straw etc. Depending on the size of the model, forage cutting machines can be divided into three types: small, medium and large. Small forage cutters are often referred to as hay cutters and are widely used in rural areas. They are mainly used for harvesting straw, rice straw and wheat straw, but also for green fodder and hay. Large forage cutters are commonly used on cattle farms and are mainly used for cutting silage, and are therefore often referred to as silage cutters. Medium-sized forage cutters are generally used as hulls and silage. Depending on the form of the cutting section, grass cutters can be divided into scraper and wheel types. To facilitate silage feeding, medium and large grass cutters generally use wheeled grass cutters; while small grass cutters have both, but most are hobble cutters. Grass cutters can be divided into fixed and mobile types according to the way they are fixed. Large and medium sized grass cutters tend to be mobile to facilitate silage operations; small grass cutters are usually fixed.
